Introduction to Grant Writing

The Lenfest Institute’s News Philanthropy Network Introduction to Grant Writing course is a self-guided program that will walk you through every stage of the grant writing process.

Over the course of a month, you’ll receive four emails containing:

• Three video lessons led by Molly Penn and Marissa Lewis of PENN Creative Strategy, which cover everything from research to relationship-building to crafting the perfect proposal. Each video is about five minutes long, and we’ll also share their slides.
• Our accompanying Grant Writing Workbook, which will help you map out your grant writing strategy.
• Additional resources and links to provide added context and to help you put these ideas into practice.
