Shannan Bowen

Shannan Bowen is a product and audience development strategist focused on strengthening local news ecosystems. She is the executive director of the NC Local News Workshop, which supports and strengthen’s North Carolina’s local news ecosystem. Her experience includes local and national journalism strategy, community engagement, audience development, content strategy, product management, audience research, and audience segmentation. In addition to her current role, Shannan provides consulting, coaching and mentorship in various areas.
